Krillion is a free daily trivia game played in your browser at krillion.io, where everyone gets the same seven prompts and has 25 seconds to name one thing for each. Common answers barely score, rare ones score big, and every point sinks your diver 10 metres deeper. A perfect 700 reaches the trench.

Where to play Krillion (official website)

The official game is at krillion.io. Its privacy page describes Krillion as a daily game at krillion.io, run by one person, and you can play it without an account, a name or an email. There is also a Krillion Discord Activity you can play inside Discord, with its own saved progress.

Krillion can't be embedded on other websites, so ArcadeBean links to the official site instead. This page is an unofficial guide. Several other sites use the Krillion name, and some advertise free "unlimited" versions. They are not the official game: for the real daily dive, play on krillion.io.

How Krillion works

Each day's dive has seven prompts, and everyone gets the same seven. Every prompt asks you to name one thing, and you have 25 seconds to type an answer. It is not multiple choice: you have to come up with the answer yourself.

Valid answers are scored by rarity. The game's own rules put it simply: rare answers score big, obvious ones float. Each point sinks you 10 metres, so the scoreboard is a depth gauge that runs from the sunlit surface down through the midnight and abyssal zones. 700 points is the trench floor, where a perfect dive ends.

You get one daily dive per day, with no second chances. Daily dives are numbered: on 11 October 2026 the official site was showing Dive #87.

What "the Krillion" and "too clever" mean

Each prompt hides a special answer called the Krillion. According to the official FAQ it is not simply the rarest answer: past a certain depth rarity gets hard to tell apart, so the Krillion is also picked for fun, as the answer that is most satisfying to land on and that at least a few players actually find.

"Too clever" is the game's name for the go-to obscure pick that isn't actually that obscure. The how-to-play screen warns about it directly: the pick that feels clever, the school thought of it too.

How Krillion decides what counts

Answer lists are built by the developer from datasets such as dictionaries, wiki pages and encyclopedias, then merged and cleaned into one answer set per prompt. Some prompts are scored mechanically against a database of how often a word or name appears in what people read and write; others use a mix of AI assistance and a manual review.

If a fair answer isn't accepted, the FAQ says the usual reason is a missed source, and the developer is working to make that rare. The game also has a suggestion box.

Beyond the daily dive: Unlimited, archive and packs

Krillion has more than the daily game. Unlimited, also called the Endless Dive, lets you play dive after dive. The Archive brings back past daily dives, and Themed packs offer 30-dive sets on topics such as words, movies, sports and geography. On 11 October 2026 the archive page offered an "Unlock Unlimited" purchase for a one-time $5, and the FAQ says any unlock turns off ads across the site. Our Unlimited guide covers what each mode includes.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Krillion free to play?

Yes. The daily dive is free and needs no account. The official site sells an optional one-time Unlimited unlock, which also removes ads.

How many questions are in Krillion?

Seven prompts a day, the same for every player, with 25 seconds to answer each one.

What is a perfect score in Krillion?

700 points. Each point sinks your diver 10 metres, so 700 points is 7,000 metres, the trench floor where a perfect dive ends.

Can I play Krillion more than once a day?

The daily dive is once per day with no second chances. For more, the official site has Unlimited (the Endless Dive), the archive of past dives and themed packs.

Is there a Krillion app?

Not yet. Krillion runs in the browser at krillion.io and as a Discord Activity. The official FAQ says an app is planned eventually.

Who made Krillion?

A solo developer. The official FAQ answers "is Krillion developed by a team?" with "No, just me." The site does not publish the developer's name.

Is it Krillion or Krilion?

The official spelling is Krillion, with a double L, at krillion.io. If you searched for krilion, this is the game you were looking for.

Is ArcadeBean the official Krillion website?

No. ArcadeBean is an independent site that writes guides to popular browser games. We are not affiliated with Krillion or its developer. To play, use krillion.io.
